Direct Psychiatry Care (DPC) is a membership model: you pay a flat monthly fee directly to the practice, and that fee covers your psychiatric care. Insurance is not involved at any point — which means no referral, no prior authorization, no copay, and no claim that can be denied after the fact.
It is the same providers and the same standard of care as our insurance-based service. What changes is the billing. Instead of a charge per visit and a claim you have to follow, you have one predictable monthly cost and direct access to your provider between appointments.
Your plan excludes mental health, or you're uninsured. A membership gives you a clear monthly price instead of a per-visit bill.
If you're paying full price until the deductible is met, insurance is adding paperwork without lowering your cost.
Messaging and priority scheduling matter most when a medication is being started or adjusted.
We're not contracted with every plan. Where we aren't, a membership is usually cheaper than out-of-network rates.

Every plan includes medication management, secure messaging with your provider, and prescriptions sent electronically to your pharmacy. Visit length is set by your provider based on what the appointment is for, and is confirmed when you book.

Messaging is for the things that come up between appointments — a side effect you want to flag, a question about a dose, a pharmacy that hasn't received a prescription. It goes to your provider through the patient portal, not to a call centre.
On Essential, messages are answered during business hours in the order received. On Complete and Premium, you get a same-day response on business days. Messaging is not monitored overnight and is not a way to reach someone urgently. EnnHealth does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in an emergency, call 911.
Membership is available wherever our providers are licensed, and you must be physically located in one of those states at the time of your visit — that is a licensing requirement, not a practice preference. Our coverage map and state pages list everywhere we currently serve.
You also need to be 18 or older to enrol yourself. Minors can be seen with a parent or guardian's consent.

Because membership isn't insurance, keep any coverage you have. A membership covers your psychiatric care with us; it does not cover an emergency room visit, an inpatient stay, or the cost of medication at the pharmacy counter.

Membership isn't health insurance. It doesn't cover hospitalizations, lab work, imaging, or prescriptions at the pharmacy. Late cancellation and no-show fees apply to members, and unused visits don't roll over.

The Premium plan includes therapy with weekly sessions. Essential and Complete focus on psychiatric visits, medication management and messaging; therapy can be added at $175 per 50-minute session.
Yes. Every plan includes medication management, with prescriptions sent electronically to your pharmacy. The medication itself is paid for at the pharmacy and isn't part of the membership fee. Controlled substances are prescribed only where clinically appropriate and permitted by your state.
