Cancellation & No-Show Policy

1. Why This Policy Exists

At EnnHealth Psychiatry, we understand that life is unpredictable. However, when an appointment is missed or cancelled without adequate notice, it prevents another patient from receiving care during that time. This policy ensures fair access to appointments for all patients while respecting our providers' time.

2. Cancellation Timeframes

3. How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment through any of these methods:

• Email: Send a request to contact@ennhealth.com
• Secure messaging: Message your provider through our secure platform

Please include your full name, date of birth, and the date/time of the appointment you wish to cancel or reschedule.

4. Late Cancellation Fees

A $50 late cancellation fee applies when an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice. This fee reflects the cost of reserved provider time that cannot be offered to another patient on short notice.

• Late cancellation fees are not covered by insurance
• The fee will be billed to the payment method on file
• DPC members: late cancellation fees apply regardless of membership plan

5. No-Show Policy

A "no-show" occurs when a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing any advance notice. No-shows are charged a $75 fee.

6. Exceptions

We understand that true emergencies happen. Late cancellation and no-show fees may be waived at the provider's discretion for:

• Medical emergencies (documentation may be required)
• Severe weather events or natural disasters
• Hospitalization of the patient or immediate family member
• Death in the immediate family
• First-time occurrence (one courtesy waiver per patient)

To request a fee waiver, contact us within 48 hours of the missed appointment with an explanation.

7. Provider Cancellations

If EnnHealth Psychiatry must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to provider illness, emergency, or other circumstances:

• You will be notified as soon as possible via phone, email, or text
• You will be offered the next available appointment at no additional cost
• No fees will be charged to you for provider-initiated cancellations
• DPC members will receive an extension of their billing period if applicable

8. Late Arrivals

If you join a telehealth session more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time:

• Your provider may need to shorten the session to stay on schedule
• If more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be marked as a no-show
• You will not be charged for a full session if the session is significantly shortened due to your late arrival

9. DPC Membership Specifics

For patients on Direct Psychiatry Care (DPC) membership plans:

• Cancellation and no-show fees apply to all plans (Essential, Complete, Premium)
• Missed sessions are not rolled over to the next month
• Cancelling a session does not extend your billing period
• Repeated no-shows may result in membership review

10. Acknowledgment

By scheduling an appointment with EnnHealth Psychiatry, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Cancellation & No-Show Policy. You agree to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations and understand the financial consequences of late cancellations and no-shows.
