How Medicare Coverage Works at EnnHealth
EnnHealth is a Medicare participating provider, which means we accept assignment on all Medicare claims. When you see us with Original Medicare (Part B), we accept the Medicare-approved amount as full payment — you will never receive a surprise bill beyond your standard cost-sharing.
Medicare Part B covers outpatient psychiatric services, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. After you meet your annual Part B deductible ($257 in 2026), Medicare pays 80% of the approved amount and you are responsible for the remaining 20% coinsurance. If you have a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) policy, it may cover all or part of your coinsurance.

Medicare has made telehealth coverage for behavioral health services permanent. You can receive psychiatric care from your home via video without needing to visit a clinic first. This applies to both initial evaluations and ongoing medication management appointments.

What Medicare Part B Typically Covers
- Initial psychiatric evaluation: Covered at 80% after Part B deductible is met.
- Medication management: Follow-up visits covered at 80% after deductible.
- Telehealth visits: Permanently covered for behavioral health from your home.
- Prescription medications: Covered under Part D (separate prescription drug plan). Not included in Part B.
